Defective Products (Dead on Arrival - DOA)
- If your product arrives defective, you must report the issue within 48 hours of delivery or pickup.
- Otto’s will cover exchanges or repairs for damaged or defective appliances at no extra cost.
- In some cases, a replacement unit or parts may need to be procured.
- Approved returns may be subject to restocking fees.
Product Does Not Meet Your Needs
- Special order appliances, parts, and accessories are final sale and non‑refundable.
- Used or clearance products are not eligible for return or exchange.
- Any returned products must be unused and free of cosmetic damage. Products that do not meet these conditions may be subject to a restocking fee or deemed ineligible for return.
- Products that have been installed or attempted to be installed are not eligible for return.
- Delivery and handling fees are non-refundable. Customers are responsible for any costs associated with returning eligible items.
- For buyer’s remorse inquiries, please contact our team to explore potential options. Returns are considered on a case-by-case basis if the appliance was purchased within the last 7 days.
14-Day Exchange Policy
- If your new appliance requires operational parts within 14 days of purchase, you may exchange it for an identical or comparable model.
- Any services related to the exchange, including delivery and installation, will be billed at standard rates.
- After 14 days, only repair services are available. For replacements beyond this timeframe, contact the product manufacturer directly.
Warranty Coverage
- Most products include a one-year parts and labor warranty. Please refer to the product literature or speak with our experts for details.
- Appliance replacements are solely determined by the manufacturer, regardless of prior repairs.
- Food or medicine loss due to appliance failure is not covered.
Local Delivery Policy
- We do not offer shipping—only local delivery within designated areas. Contact us for availability in your location.
- Delivery drivers do not connect or disconnect water or gas lines, except for laundry water connections.
- Please ensure the appliance fits within the designated space before delivery (considering doorways, stairways, and clearances).
- Delivery fees are non-refundable.
Delivery Damages
- Otto’s Electric Inc. takes every precaution to ensure a smooth and careful delivery process.
- Customers must inspect products upon delivery. If damage is noticed at the time of delivery, you must report it immediately before the delivery team leaves the premises.
- If damage is discovered after delivery, you must notify us within 24 hours of receiving the product.
- We are not responsible for damages reported after 24 hours.
- Minor property damage (such as scuffs, scratches, or dents on floors, walls, or doorways) may occur despite our best efforts. By accepting the delivery, the customer acknowledges this risk, and Otto’s Electric Inc. cannot be held responsible.
By placing an order with Otto’s Electric Inc., the customer agrees to abide by the policies outlined above. We reserve the right to cancel orders at any time.
